Small class sizes with personalised attention
My lecturers here at LIBT are very accessible and I feel that they are more approachable than they would be if I was in the first year at university. We have small classes and are all able to get the assistance that we need.

Access to on-campus Brunel University accommodation
A friend of mine came to the Brunel campus and said that it is lovely and the halls are excellent! Many university halls aren't as good as ours!

Guaranteed transfer to Brunel
The course is preparing me for my time at Brunel, especially as I needed extra Maths and wouldn't have been able to gain entry to Brunel without this course at LIBT. As long as I meet the rest of the academic entry requirements and my English is fine - I have guaranteed progression to Brunel.

London on your doorstep
The UK is known as having the best education system in the world. I chose London because it is a big city and there is alot to see and do. If I had gone to a small city or town, there would not have been that opportunity.

Access to world class teaching and research facilities
The facilities at LIBT and Brunel are excellent. I am focusing on IT so the computer facilities are important to me. There are several computer rooms across campus and I can also get internet access in my room.

Dedicated student support services and mentors
I was a student mentor while I was studying at LIBT and a student representative on the student council too. I assisted new international students and provided guidance on how to settle in during their first few months here. I had this support when I started and I think it makes alot of difference.
Varun (India): First Year University Studies in Business and Management currently 3rd Year BSc (Hons) in Business and Management

International outlook - teaching and students
I have classmates from all around the world and this allows everyone to give their own country's perspective on topics we study in class - you don't just learn about one point of view.

Good preparation for university academic life
I studied English at Brunel's International Pathways and Language Centre which was tough at the beginning. This was because I had not had much of a chance to practice my English when I was in China. I am now able to understand and speak more English which has helped me to understand the lecturers. I would not have been able to follow the classes had I not studied on this course.
